Educational Support Services

Speech and Language Therapy—Individual and group therapy are provided to students. Therapists incorporate a variety of instructional methods to enable the student to develop and incorporate speech and language into their daily lives.

Physical and Occupational Therapy—Many students at Magnolia School have multiple disabilities and require extensive therapy. With the help of  therapists, students work to become more independent. Walking, standing, sitting, eating, communicating, or even just holding their head up for an extended period of time are some of the goals incorporated into the individual educational plan.

Behavior Therapy—Students requiring more self-help skills are in a program uniquely tailored to their needs. Self control is a skill required for success in life and the community. Student’s receive training in behavior modification and acquisition skills with an emphasis on improved communication.  These are necessary skills for maximizing success in school, post school outcomes and in life.
